Whale of a Tale

This picture was taken on girls day out this week. I had so much fun with ma ladies, and it will be super awesome when we are all in the same place this summer :)

First, I love tees that are cute, and girly {blue ruffle and floral whale=girly}. Second, I LOVE these sunglasses that I found at F21. Matt told me they looked like grandma glasses, and I am wondering when he will realize that anytime he says something looks like his grandma's, it is a compliment :) Ah well, we have forever for him to learn these things.

Cropped Military Sweater

I found this great cropped Vintage military sweater and took pictures to sell it on my Sense of Fashion shop, and I just loved the way they turned out so I am using them as my outfit post :)

Honestly, I am not sure why I look like I want to kill someone in this picture. Oh wait....getting 5 different doctor's bills for 1 measly surgery that was only optional if you count death as one of the options. Yeah, that might have been why I looked mad. Sheesh insurance, you don't want to pick up more than a 25% tab for the anesthesia bill? Because, what, anesthesia is optional for surgery? 

Well, that is my rant of the day. On a happy note, I found some awesome vintage things that got added to Sense of Fashion, and they notified me that one of my dresses is going to be featured which is VERY exciting! Tuesday!

Sorry folks that I was MIA for so long! {ok, only two days, but it felt long}. I was working on some fun things for my Etsy shop Hint of Vintage. Namely, modest shorts. Because I feel like we get jipped, more often than not. Sure, they make long shorts, but they are never the fun designs that you see with the short shorts. Anyway, you can let me know what you think of these:

So, what do you think? High-waisted and pleated because they are everywhere fashion wise, long and modest with a unique touch :)

Just a few more items added to Hint of Vintage. I have to be honest, some of these were hard to put up for sale after I paired them to take pictures and thought of all the wonderous possibilities, especially the fabulous plum pleated pants.

This was my vintage treasure I found, that I redesigned for my Etsy shop Hint of Vintage. I kept laughing in the before picture because Matt kept cracking jokes about how ugly it was. I think he changed his tune after he saw the alterations :)

So it turns out today that I only had enough energy to get dressed for church, take these pictures, drive to church, sit down in sacrament for all of 10 minutes, and then have to leave because I was feeling miserable. Woe is the life of us girls during that time of the month.

Ok, I am going to go now. I feel like I am giving birth again. Only consolation is that I know it won't last 22 hours, and that Ibprofen should do the trick (prescription strength, that is).

Laundry Day

Well, it is bad enough limiting my clothes selection to 26, but then you throw in laundry day and I had all of...mmm....three choices. Yes I understand that I could have gotten dressed AFTER laundry, but the problem is Matt and I only have a washer which means you wash it on one day, but don't get to wear it until it is dry the next :) But, alas, I actually liked my outfit today despite it's many challenges. Plus, take a little gander at the necklace I am wearing. I kind of love lock and key necklaces, and Hint of Vintage just put up some new ones.

Well, I have to go do more laundry. Since husband's back it practically as useless as an 80-year-old man's it is kind of up to me. He got hurt playing basketball, poor guy, and has been pretty much out of commission. I should probably give him a kiss before laundry because kisses make it all better.
