Here we are on our date. I even managed to get our waiter in the back {unintentional}. And if you think my husband is ugly, that is his own dang fault because he makes the most ridiculous faces in every picture I take of him. Now my little man Link, on the other hand, is a total camera cheese if you can't tell by this picture. He poses just about every time he sees a camera.
Here's the whole outfit:
{shirt: Ross, cardigan: thrifted LOFT, pants: thrifted j.crew, shoes: Ross, earrings: F21}
Found these j.crew wide-leg pants at, you guessed it, the thrift store. I am in love with the fit, even though you can't really tell how awesome they are in this pic. I am pretty sure that there is a j.crew fairy somewhere here in Norman, in my size, that loves to drop off j.crew beauties at the Goodwill for me to find, buy and cherish because I am always finding awesome j.crew stuff {which is normally uber expensive and completely out of my price range, which is why I am thankful for my little Norman fairy}.
ok so im in love with that shirt youre wearing! Question...? I'm still nursing and so I'm lucky enough to be VERY top heavy, so how do I make a shirt like that work? without buying huge because then its HUGE in the waist!
ReplyDeleteIf you have any sewing skills you could easily manipulate a large to fit better in the waist. Another option is just to get a shirt that has a quality stretch to it (meaning it won't stretch out after you wear it once). That way it will just stretch where it needs to and be tight around the waist :)
ReplyDeletedarling blog! I'm so glad I found it! I love finding new winners. What a cute little family.

Thank you :) I'm so glad you found us too!
ReplyDeleteYou always look so cute! Do you find your treasures at a consignment or goodwill??? Also, you seem to be quite the fashionista, can you give me some ideas as how to do something??? Hubby is in the military...we have OODLES of old camo uniform tops. Somehow I would like to maybe tailor one so it fits better and belt it or something to use it this spring. Do you have any ideas for me as to how to use it??? I would appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteWe love Chili's too :) And a date is the best no matter what time of day!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Chilis is pretty much my favorite! And you definitely have a fairy out there. And I'm so jealous...where do you find those?!!?
ReplyDeleteGoodwill mostly! And it's even better when I find it in the half-off color of the week :) Crystal-I would love to take that challenge! Send me a pic to modestfashionsense@gmail.com and I will get those creative juices flowin! And Chili's rocks!
